The beaches of Santorini are simply unique. You can choose among black or white sand, red or white pebbles, green, blue or black waters and spoil yourself with a truly fantastic experience.

Kamari is unique and unlike any other beach you have seen. It is long and distinctive for its sand, which is black and volcanic. An enormous rock that rises from the sea, called Mesa Vouno makes it even more impressive. It is also quite famous, so be prepared to meet almost anyone, from jetsetters visiting Santorini to backpackers. Your flip-flops are necessary as the sand gets blisteringly hot.

Vlihada is perfect for those looking a calm and quite beach, as usually it is not as crowded as the other beaches around Santorini. The landscape is fantastic as the yellowish volcanic cliffs make an antithesis with the dark sand and the blue sea. Vlihada is famous for its picturesque small port too. Here you can see ducks swimming around in the sea, while old fishermen mending their nets.

Located at the southern tip of the island, this is a black pebbles, organized beach. You can find everything from water sports to beach bars and there are also a few small tavernas. It is one of the most tourist friendly beaches of Santorini, the perfect spot to have a quiet swim and avoid the massive crowds.

Located near to the airport area, Monolithos is one of the most family friendly beaches in Santorini. It’s covered with black pebbles, quiet and well organized, while its shallow clear waters make it ideal for kids. There is also a playground and a beach volley court. You can rent an umbrella and sunbeds, or you can protect yourself under the the shade of the trees, which are by the beach. However, Monolithos, is not recommended on windy days.

An endless black sand, organized beach, which many of our customers have found as the best beach in Santorini. Many people prefer Perissa for its crystal water, the smooth sand and mainly because it’s the best protected beach from the summer Aegean winds. The tourist resort of Perissa offers a wide range of choices. You can find hotels, rooms to let, tavernas, restaurants, cafes, bars and nightclubs. Also, where Perissa ends, Perivolos a beach you should visit, if you want a day club experience, starts.

One of the most famous and beautiful beaches of Santorini, located near the village and ancient site of Akrotiri. We always recommend Red beach to our adventurous customers who rent a 4x4 or atv. It's worth taking your rental car or atv and then climbing over a rocky path for around ten minutes to get there. Red Beach owes its name to the iron-rich sedimentary rocks and the red sand. You can rent an umbrella and a pair of sunbeds. There is also free space nearby, but gets packed in high season. It’s a great area for snorkeling too, as the waters are clear and an abundance of sea life is present. A great place to enjoy swimming at sunset time.
